Job Description:

Position Title: Senior Oracle DBA/Support Engineer

Position Loc: India, Hyd

Length: Full Time

Num of Positions: 3

• Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Performing and coordinating effective installation and performance of advanced operating system hardware and software on servers.
• Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
• Support and maintain end user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance and training.
• Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to IT.
• Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet the company’s IT goals.
• Work with a team to automate management tasks, streamline processes and perform standard administration functions as needed.
• Be responsible for managing the IT system to meet strategic goals.
• Should be able to support the systems remotely.

Additional skills required:
• Knowledge in UNIX server administration
• Oracle and/or Database administration and performance tuning

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Master’s
• Exposure to Health care and/or Life Sciences domain is a very strong plus.
